God

It's morning because i want it to be morning
every single day
a simple reminder
to make believe

It's cold because i want it to be cold
because the sun is my toy

This world is true because i want it to be true
and no dreams belong to this life
cause that is what i choose
to make believe

I'm in your head because you want me in your head

Lifeless

You're too quick so i can't find
You're too far for me to touch
You're too vague and i can't see

So in this desert i am me
and there is nothing left to find
to clutch some sand into my hands
cause there is nothing left to touch.

Then spit the water i have left
purging the moisture of my skin
and build a figure blur like you
with no beginning and no end
to grasp the nature of our curse
since there is nothing left to see.

But when i descry in my tears,
there is no me in you no more.

Nightmare

It was a nightmare when dreams were lost
Cause I could not see clearly anymore
That foggy forest with no edge
It was myself.

And every creature amongst the trees
Hiding from life and death together
I could not confront anymore

There was no game to win or lose
Since running was not deliberating anymore
There was no trophy at the end

Voices

So many voices spring and sling
seems there is nothing left to say
if truth is what you're aching for
a term to beat the moment
no fabrication will unleash it
no challenge will reveal
that childish feeling in your heart
that undefiled prospect.

It was just you and not the world
it was a hunch but not a sign
so now you shut your ears well
and shed that notion from your head
trying not to listen once more
those words floating on our spit
awaiting to fall down again.

Star

A star was raised for thousand skies
and it was stared by million eyes
but only dreams could make it bright
the dreams that you will see tonight.

A star was raised behind your eyes
a truth to beat a million lies
cause tears you shed will shine so bright
and lighten up what’s wrong or right.

Ήχοι της νύχτας

Σκοτάδι ανάλαφρο· σκοτάδι αναμονής.
Μαγευτικό το αύριο· τόσο όμορφα ανεύθυνο, τόσο μακρινό.
Και το φως της ζωής μου χλιαρό·
έτοιμο να δυναμώσει ξαφνικά μέχρι να εκραγεί,
χαρίζοντας το κρυφό μονοπάτι της λύτρωσης.
Αλλιώς θα σβήσει.
Τίποτα όμως δε συμβαίνει,
κι εγώ στο τίποτα επενδύω τα όνειρά μου·
στους ήχους της νύχτας.

Η ζωή μου ακολουθεί το αύριο,
το κορμί μου σκορπά στο χθες.

Η μέρα μου δε χάνεται...

είναι λουλούδι
που κόπηκε πριν μαραθεί στον έρωτα τη φρεσκάδα του να χαρίσει

είναι ήχος
που απ’ το λαιμό δε θέλει να βγει πριν την απόλυτη σιωπή συναντήσει

είναι πουλί
χαμένο στο χρόνο που γρήγορα πετά στο αύριο μην αργήσει

είναι χαμόγελο· στη σκέψη χαραγμένη εικόνα.

Ποιος;

Στον καθρέπτη προσεκτικά θα κοιταχτείς
κι αφού σιγουρευτείς πως τίποτα δεν ξέχασες
το ταξίδι και πάλι θα ξεκινήσεις.

Κι όσο καλά το δρόμο κι αν γνωρίσεις
τον εαυτό σου ποτέ δε θα ανακαλύψεις
μια γνώριμη μ’ απόμακρη φιγούρα.

Όταν τον ξαναδείς
στο φως θα τρέξεις να τον ζωγραφίσεις
προτού ξανά ξεχάσεις τη μορφή του.

Μα δέντρο το χαρτί θα γίνει
και δέντρο ποτέ δεν ήσουνα στ’ αλήθεια
όσο καιρό κι αν πέρασες στο δάσος.

Ταξίδι

Ξεκινώ να ταξιδεύω μακριά
ξέρεις για σένα φτάνω ως τα πουλιά
που όλα τα σύννεφα οσφρίζονται
και πετούν και στροβιλίζονται
και ερωτεύονται πίσω απ' το βλέμμα
στο σκοτάδι που μοιράζονται μια λάμψη κι ένα ψέμα.

Στο σκοτάδι κι εγώ οσφρίζομαι τη φωτιά
ξέρεις για μένα ταξιδεύω μακριά
τα πεταμένα μου στολίδια ακολουθώ
σε κύκλο κλείνομαι μα προχωρώ
μια λάμψη πάλι στο σκοτάδι ν' αντικρίσω
πριν ξεχαστώ και τ' όνειρο αφήσω.

Πέρα απ' τον κόσμο χάνομαι και ζω
ξέρεις δεν ξέρω γιατί ξεκινώ
γιατί στον κόσμο αυτό να συνεχίσω
πριν την πληγή το χτύπημα να ζήσω
πριν τη φωτιά σπιρτόκουτα να φτιάξω
δίχως να ξέρω βοήθεια να φωνάξω.
